I have a question about using branches.\n\nFor example, I make branch for some experimental feature. After some\ntime I have completed this feature. I'll checkout previous branch and\nmerge this new feature's branch to it.\n\nAnd there is my question. If I know that this feature was implemented\nvery good and _will not be changed lately_, should I remove this new\nfeature branch (because it will be unused)?\n\nIs there some best practice what to do in my case?\n\nSo, should I remove a branch for some new feature after its\nimplementation if I sure that I will not edit this feature's code later?\n\nMay be, there is answer for my question already and I missed it?\n"},{"id":"175332","messageId":"loom.20110912T100134-606@post.gmane.org","threadId":"28359","inReplyTo":"1315769475.2560.39.camel@mamburu","subject":"Re: Git new-feature-branch best practices","fromName":"Alexey Shumkin","fromEmail":"zapped@mail.ru","sentAt":"2011-09-12T08:02:46Z","receivedAt":"2011-09-12T08:02:46Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"alex.crezoff@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/1183752?v=4"},"body":"\ntake a look \nhttp://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/181129\n"}]}
