Is there a way (or any\n> other GUI)that enables these restrictions by user?\n\nNot as far as I know, but this isn't necessary. Git is a distributed\nsystem, so any changes that an user does only exist in their local\nrepository until they push the changes out to some other repository, and\nwith gitolite[0] you can restrict who can push to which branches.\n\nIf you just want people to be able to browse the repository, maybe\ninstalling gitweb or cgit would fit your needs better.\n\n\n[0] https://github.com/sitaramc/gitolite\n"}]}
