In your case,\nyou also want the refs/remotes/git-svn branch (which is probably the\nsame as the \"master\" you bring across in the bundle).\n\nSo you could do this in the cloned repo:\n\n git update-ref refs/remotes/git-svn master\n\nAnd then your svn fetch should be much faster.\n\nBut note that git-svn also keeps some magic cache in .git/svn. If you\nbring that information across, too, the initial fetch would probably be\nfaster. So I really wonder if what you want instead of bundle is to\nsimply tar up the .git directory of the original repo and copy the whole\nthing to your destination.\n\n-Peff\n"},{"id":"164822","messageId":"1301598985704-6228418.post@n2.nabble.com","threadId":"26926","inReplyTo":"1301488591248-6222619.post@n2.nabble.com","subject":"Re: Problem with git bundle.","fromName":"mav007ar","fromEmail":"mav007ar@yahoo.com.ar","sentAt":"2011-03-31T19:16:25Z","receivedAt":"2011-03-31T19:16:25Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"mav007ar@yahoo.com.ar","avatar":null},"body":"Jeff, thanks a lot.
