I have worked with Fedora and Pardus during GSOC\n2008, 2009 and 2010.\n\nI am interested to work on libgit2 based minimal git client. I have\nbuilt the libgit2 from source and tried to write basic git tasks. I\nhave written a lot of python code in the past and now I look for\nwriting good C code. Definitely, writing a git client based on libgit2\nseems interesting.\n\nI have been using git for my previous GSOC projects as well as\npersonal projects for the past two years. I also have reasonable\nunderstanding of git concepts and internals. I checked out git-core\ncode and had a look at the test cases shell script from t directory. I\nam confident to implement basic git operations clone, checkout,\nbranch, commit, push, pull, log for a CLI static self executable.\n\nLooking forward to your response.\n\nThank you.\n--\nHappy Hacking,\nSarath Lakshman\nhttp://www.sarathlakshman.com\n"},{"id":"165000","messageId":"20110403153515.GB1480@kytes","threadId":"26900","inReplyTo":"AANLkTima7ezW+jFJKTKFmOvbibTkayaopF-NifKRQbp5@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: GSOC 11: Minimal git based client based on libgit2","fromName":"Ramkumar Ramachandra","fromEmail":"artagnon@gmail.com","sentAt":"2011-04-03T15:35:18Z","receivedAt":"2011-04-03T15:35:18Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"r@artagnon.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/37226?v=4"},"body":"Hi Sarath,\n\nSarath Lakshman writes:\n> I am an undergraduate student from India who wants to contribute to\n> libgit2 during GSOC.
