Later\nversions of the series implemented notes copying as a core feature.\n\nThus mentioning post-rewrite-copy-notes was never correct.  As the\nother hooks do not have a \"there is no default hook, but...\" sentence\nunless they ship a sample hook in either templates or contrib, we\nsimply remove the whole paragraph.\n\nSigned-off-by: Thomas Rast <trast@student.ethz.ch>\n---\n Documentation/githooks.txt |    4 ----\n 1 files changed, 0 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-)\n\ndiff --git a/Documentation/githooks.txt b/Documentation/githooks.txt\nindex 7183aa9..28edefa 100644\n--- a/Documentation/githooks.txt\n+++ b/Documentation/githooks.txt\n@@ -350,10 +350,6 @@ rebase::\n The commits are guaranteed to be listed in the order that they were\n processed by rebase.\n \n-There is no default 'post-rewrite' hook, but see the\n-`post-receive-copy-notes` script in `contrib/hooks` for an example\n-that copies your git-notes to the rewritten commits.\n-\n \n GIT\n ---\n-- \n1.7.4.rc1.309.g58aa0\n"}]}
