It works fine \non all their Mac systems.  I'm the first one using the PC system.  So I have to \nresort to the sparse checkout.\n\nThis is what I did:\n1. Created a file .git/info/sparse-checkout that contains these lines:\n*\n!title_add_tags_to.png\n!title_tagging.png\n\nThe above two files are the only ones that are listed in that problematic \ndirectory name \"public/images/tagging\\rtagging/\".\n\n2. To enable sparsecheckout, modified file .git/config:\n[core]\n    repositoryformatversion = 0\n    filemode = false\n    bare = false\n    logallrefupdates = true\n    symlinks = false\n    ignorecase = true\n    hideDotFiles = dotGitOnly\n    sparsecheckout = true  <------- added this line\n[remote \"origin\"]\n    url = git@github.com:XXX/YYY.git\n    fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*\n\nThen I issued the command\n$ git checkout -b master origin/master\nChecking out files: 100% (937/937), done.\nBranch master set up to track remote branch master from origin.\nAlready on 'master'\n\nVoila, it works.  That \"tagging\\rtagging/\" directory was not created in folder \n\"public/images/\".\n\nThanks.\nHoca\n\n\n      \n"}]}
