The version you have now should be\nejected in favor of it:\n\n   git://github.com/avar/git.git ab/i18n\n   http://github.com/avar/git/compare/87b5054...ab/i18n\n   http://github.com/avar/git/compare/87b5054...ab/i18n.patch\n\nChanges since last time, I can also send these to list on request. But\nI don't think anyone wants a 160 patch flood:\n\n    http://github.com/avar/git/compare/ab/i18n-in-pu...ab/i18n\n    http://github.com/avar/git/compare/ab/i18n-in-pu...ab/i18n.patch\n\nThe Gist of it is:\n\n  * I rewrote the huge monolithic commit that added NO_GETTEXT_POISON\n    prereqs to tests out of the series and added these changes to\n    individual tests instead. This was the practice I was using for\n    patches later in the series, but I hadn't updated the earlier\n    ones.\n\n    In the process of doing that I found some tests that were\n    mistakenly marked under NO_GETTEXT_POISON, mainly because the\n    tests failed due to earlier tests that rightly had\n    NO_GETTEXT_POISON. I did some re-arranging of test code to avoid\n    this.\n\n  * The PO files use line numbers again, and now have copyright\n    notices at the top.\n\n    It turns out that using msgmerge(1) is a major PITA without these\n    line numbers, msgmerge will compeletely screw up merges that\n    otherwise would have succeeded. E.g. it'll merge two similar but\n    unrelated messages together and mark them as fuzzy, but if it has\n    file/line number data it doesn't do this.\n\n    Our PO usage is now completely standard, i.e. we're not removing\n    anything that the normal GNU gettext tools add. I updated\n    po/README to reflect this.\n\n  * I did a msgmerge(1) on the existing PO files. This has left a lot\n    of messages marked as fuzzy. TRANSLATORS: Please check if this has\n    screwed up your translations.\n\nFurther notes below. But here's a diffstat between this series and the\none that was merged into pu:\n    \n     command-list.txt          |    1 +\n     po/README                 |   43 +-\n     po/de.po                  | 1220 +++++++++++++++-\n     po/en_GB.po               | 2778 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-\n     po/hi.po                  | 2777 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-\n     po/is.po                  |   64 +-\n     po/pl.po                  | 2788 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-\n     po/sv.po                  | 3492 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++\n     t/t0201-gettext-poison.sh |   36 -\n     t/t0205-gettext-poison.sh |   36 +\n     t/t1200-tutorial.sh       |    3 +-\n     t/t2204-add-ignored.sh    |   45 +-\n     t/t3700-add.sh            |   15 +-\n     t/t5541-http-push.sh      |    2 +-\n     t/t7004-tag.sh            |   27 +-\n     t/t7500-commit.sh         |    3 -\n     t/t7501-commit.sh         |    7 +-\n     t/t7502-commit.sh         |   60 +-\n     t/t7508-status.sh         |   63 +-\n     wt-status.c               |    2 +-\n     20 files changed, 13143 insertions(+), 319 deletions(-)\n    \n\nJan Krüger (1):\n  po/de.po: add German translation\n\nMarcin Cieślak (1):\n  po/pl.po: add Polish translation\n\nPeter Krefting (1):\n  po/sv.po: add Swedish translation\n\nRamkumar Ramachandra (1):\n  po/hi.po: add Hindi Translation\n\nSam Reed (1):\n  po/en_GB.po: add British English translation\n\nThomas Rast (1):\n  gettext tests: locate i18n lib&data correctly under --valgrind\n\nÆvar Arnfjörð Bjarmason (154):\n  t7004-tag.sh: re-arrange git tag comment for clarity\n\nThis is new, and can be cherry-picked out of this series (like\neverything before \"gettext: add infrastructure for translating Git\nwith gettext\").\n\n  tests: use test_cmp instead of piping to diff(1)\n  builtin: use builtin.h for all builtin commands\n  gettext: add infrastructure for translating Git with gettext\n\nI squashed the \"gettext tests: update test/is.po to match\nt/t0200/test.c\" commit into this one. Rebasing\nall of those on top of each other and testing each of them was a PITA,\nso I folded things back into one huge series.\n\nBut I don't think any of this is a problem for translators, they just\nhave to pull down any version of the series and start cracking at\n\"make pot && msginit ...\". Maybe that POT file is *slightly* out of\ndate, but the translation strings themselves are really stable at this\npoint, so that's always going to be <1-2% of the translation that\nneeds to be fixed up & unfuzzied.\n\nSo just submit translations, maybe they'll make it as part of the\ninitial ab/i18n merge and maybe they won't.\n"},{"id":"151313","messageId":"7vsk11sjf9.fsf@alter.siamese.dyndns.org","threadId":"25172","inReplyTo":"1285015029-23103-1-git-send-email-avarab@gmail.com","subject":"Re: [PATCH 000/160] [PULL] Update ab/i18n (again)","fromName":"Junio C Hamano","fromEmail":"gitster@pobox.com","sentAt":"2010-09-22T18:49:14Z","receivedAt":"2010-09-22T18:49:14Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"gitster@pobox.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/54884?v=4"},"body":"$ make doc\nmake -C Documentation all\nmake[1]: Entering directory `/scratch/junio/buildfarm/pu/Documentation'\nrm -f cmd-list.made && \\\n        /usr/bin/perl ./cmd-list.perl ../command-list.txt  && \\\n        date >cmd-list.made\nNo such file git-sh-i18n.txt at ./cmd-list.perl line 10.\n\nHmm?\n"},{"id":"151314","messageId":"AANLkTimKp+u2QGhR=zFYTSALcxRUr=LQewYRK83uh+U1@mail.gmail.com","threadId":"25172","inReplyTo":"7vsk11sjf9.fsf@alter.siamese.dyndns.org","subject":"Re: [PATCH 000/160] [PULL] Update ab/i18n (again)","fromName":"Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason","fromEmail":"avarab@gmail.com","sentAt":"2010-09-22T18:52:02Z","receivedAt":"2010-09-22T18:52:02Z","isPatch":true,"sender":{"key":"avarab@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/45301?v=4"},"body":"On Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 18:49, Junio C Hamano <gitster@pobox.com> wrote:\n> $ make doc\n> make -C Documentation all\n> make[1]: Entering directory `/scratch/junio/buildfarm/pu/Documentation'\n> rm -f cmd-list.made && \\\n>        /usr/bin/perl ./cmd-list.perl ../command-list.txt  && \\\n>        date >cmd-list.made\n> No such file git-sh-i18n.txt at ./cmd-list.perl line 10.\n>\n> Hmm?\n\nOops, I didn't try running \"make doc\".
