Any idea?\n\nI use CygWin and I have all the git tools (git-core, git-svn, git-gui, gitk)\nand the version available is 1.7.2.3-1.  \n\nWhat version of CygWin did you install? Do you use the lastest installer?\nCygWin have pass to 1.7 this year. Do you use the lastest installer?\n\nI had no idea what I was using, so I downloaded new setup.exe from cygwin.com, \nselected a different mirror (just in case), and it works. It looks like my \nversion was simply incomplete and the problem was not related to git at all. I \nhave no clue how it came, but it seems to be a problem with cygwin or with the \nmirror I was using before. Actually, I should have tried it without having to \nask first, but thank you.\n"}]}
