Fedora 11\nis the oldest release currently supported and it contains 1.6.2.5.\n1.7.1 is in updates-testing for both Fedora 12 and 13.\n\nPerhaps it's also worth mentioning for the archives that the fedora\npackages are designed to cleanly build in mock¹ for RHEL/CentOS >= 4 as\nwell as previous Fedora releases.\n\n¹ mock is fedora's main build tool, usable with little to no\n configuration on RHEL/CentOS/Fedora systems.\n\n-- \nTodd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\nEinstein argued that there must be simplified explanations of nature,\nbecause God is not capricious or arbitrary.
