You can use blank-at-eof\n and blank-at-eol whitespace error class to specify them separately.\n The old trailing-space error class is now a short-hand to set both.\n\n * \"-p\" option to \"git format-patch\" was supposed to suppress diffstat\n generation, but it was broken since 1.6.1.\n\n * \"git imap-send\" did not compile cleanly with newer OpenSSL.\n\n * \"git help -a\" outside of a git repository was broken.\n\n * \"git ls-files -i\" was supposed to be inverse of \"git ls-files\" without -i\n with respect to exclude patterns, but it was broken since 1.6.5.2.\n\n * \"git ls-remote\" outside of a git repository over http was broken.\n\n * \"git rebase -i\" gave bogus error message when the command word was\n misspelled.\n\n * \"git receive-pack\" that is run in response to \"git push\" did not run\n garbage collection nor update-server-info, but in larger hosting sites,\n these almost always need to be run. To help site administrators, the\n command now runs \"gc --auto\" and \"u-s-i\" by setting receive.autogc\n and receive.updateserverinfo configuration variables, respectively.\n\n * Release notes spelled the package name with incorrect capitalization.\n\n * \"gitweb\" did not escape non-ascii characters correctly in the URL.\n\n * \"gitweb\" showed \"patch\" link even for merge commits.\n\n * \"gitweb\" showed incorrect links for blob line numbers in pathinfo mode.\n\nOther minor documentation updates are included.\n\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------\n\nChanges since v1.6.5.2 are as follows:\n\nBjörn Gustavsson (1):\n git-clone.txt: Fix grammar and formatting\n\nBjörn Steinbrink (1):\n pre-commit.sample: Diff against the empty tree when HEAD is invalid\n\nClemens Buchacher (1):\n modernize fetch/merge/pull examples\n\nDaniel Barkalow (2):\n Require a struct remote in transport_get()\n Allow curl helper to work without a local repository\n\nDmitry V.
