You\nshouldn't be using pregenerated html nor man for that matter...\n\nFWIW, you can already say \"make info\" and \"make pdf\" yourselves if you\nhave necessary toolchains installed. Integration is not an issue.\n\nNeither my primary development box (Debian, which I would test before\npushing things out) nor the machine at k.org I use for the final sanity\ncheck (FC11, on which the documents are automatically generated) has\ndblatex nor docbook2x installed. I am not particularly enthused about\ninstalling a lot of dependencies for these packages on my machine. You\n> shouldn't be using pregenerated html nor man for that matter...\n\nWith \"compiling\" documentation things are a bit different.\nSimplified, in contrast to source code compiling documentation leads to\nthe same results on all machines while sources produces lots of\ndifferent results depending on the configuration of the machine (\"use\nflags\", compile flags, versions of linked libraries, ..) which differ\nheavily from one machine to another.\n\nGenerating documentation downstream means more dependencies for us\nwithout any advantages that I would be aware of. In case of dblatex the\ndependencies get quite extreme actually :-) So we thought why not just\nask for it if you provide similar things already.\n\n\n> FWIW, you can already say \"make info\" and \"make pdf\" yourselves if you\n> have necessary toolchains installed. Integration is not an issue.\n\nWe use make info at the moment. (On a sidenote I hope you get it\nworking with the latest asciidoc again. See my earlier mail on this list.)\n\n\n> Neither my primary development box (Debian, which I would test before\n> pushing things out) nor the machine at k.org I use for the final sanity\n> check (FC11, on which the documents are automatically generated) has\n> dblatex nor docbook2x installed.
