(Actually, that's not quite true -- I\ngot zero response :-)  I've been very busy and haven't had the chance to\nimplement any of the big missing functionality yet, nor will I have time\nfor at least awhile.  Hopefully I'll have some time over the holidays to\nhack on it.\n\nHowever, two things HAVE changed:\n  1. FUSE is now in the latest mainline kernels, so the barrier-to-entry for\n     toying with it is lower now\n  2. The introduction of git packs a couple months ago broke it; this is now\n     fixed\n\nOther than rebasing against git-core-0.99.8 the only major changes are:\n  * now runs in non-debugging mode by default (use '-d' to enable debugging\n    mode)\n  * some efficiency improvements in the directory-handling code\nAll the limitations and caveats in the original announcement still apply.\n\nAs always --  http://www.sfgoth.com/~mitch/linux/gitfs/\n\n-Mitch\n\n[1] -- http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=git&m=111975978111303&w=2\n"}]}
