To do this I've been trying to use the following command\n\n$ git filter-branch --env-filter '\nan=\"$GIT_AUTHOR_NAME\"\nam=\"$GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL\"\nif [ \"$GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL\" = \"ram\"]; then\nan=\"Adam Mercer\"\nam=\"ramercer@gmail.com\"\nfi\nexport GIT_AUTHOR_NAME=$an\nexport GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL=$am\n'\n\nhowever when I run this I get loads of errors of the form:\n\nRewrite 18242fa722ff393e7fce78e05f37fa7c3b3825e1\n(1/216)/opt/local/libexec/git-core/git-filter-branch: line 307: [:\nmissing `]'\n\nAny ideas what I'm doing wrong?
