When you click on a\nfile in the bottom left pane, it becomes \"staged for\ncommit\".  So far so good.\n\nBut when you take a file and (un)stage a part of it, then\nthe text on the yellow bar changes to \"Portions staged for\ncommit\", regardless of whether you clicked on the filename\nin the top left (unstaged) or bottom left (staged) pane.\n\nOne of the two texts should be different, but what? To some of my users, that is certainly\nconfusing.\n\nI guess confusion, like beauty, is in the eyes of the\nbeholder...\n"}]}
