In the same way as\n\"git fetch\" only fetches changes from the remote repo and updates\nthe remote branch. You can see only local branches with gitweb.\n\nSo, you may want to run \"git svn rebase\" instead. (Note: the command\nis \"git svn rebase\" and not \"git clone rebase\" as you wrote earlier).\n\n\"git svn rebase\" fetches all changes as \"git svn fetch\" does but then it\nrebases your local commits on the current branch on top of the svn\nremote branch. If you do not have any local commits then it just\nupdates the top of the current branch to be the same.\nNote: Running \"git svn rebase\" requires that your working tree is\nclean (no uncommitted changes).\n\nYou can always see all branches and what changes they have by\n running:\n gitk --all &\n\nDmitry\n"},{"id":"109868","messageId":"49D08FBF.709@op5.se","threadId":"18604","inReplyTo":"12F76915BCBF4FAAB0E3C18BCC2528D5@HPLAPTOP","subject":"Re: Getting GIT+git-daemon+gitweb working properly on Fedora 10","fromName":"Andreas Ericsson","fromEmail":"ae@op5.se","sentAt":"2009-03-30T09:24:15Z","receivedAt":"2009-03-30T09:24:15Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"ae@op5.se","avatar":"https://gravatar.com/avatar/426e89595c75a8f5252dd0c989e5fabe5bcac616e68557427ad9aef6b0ca342a?d=mp&s=160"},"body":"Aaron Gray wrote:\n> gitweb is showing a repository last changed on the front page 2 days ago \n> but in the summary is showing a change 3 hours ago.\n> \n> I am getting different behaviours from different repositories. on gitweb \n> and in their base directories some have file some donot.
