The largest\nproblem is that VSS cannot record directory copies, so the resulting\nSVN repository does not have them either. This makes conversion tools\nunable to detect any branching, so I had to implement support for\ncompletely arbitrary mapping specs.\n\nI also made an incremental synchronization script for simple actions\n(requires logging to be enabled in VSS).\n\nAlexander\n\nP.S: I made some fixes to vss2svn too, they are in a separate branch:\n  http://www.pumacode.org/projects/vss2svn/browser/branches/Alexander\n"},{"id":"202568","messageId":"1352153319414-7570605.post@n2.nabble.com","threadId":"18094","inReplyTo":"b0a3bf780903020915g60d97b76pfdbbd60017625f0a@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: VSS to git","fromName":"victorcruz","fromEmail":"vitycruz@gmail.com","sentAt":"2012-11-05T22:08:39Z","receivedAt":"2012-11-05T22:08:39Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"vitycruz@gmail.com","avatar":null},"body":"To migrate from VSS to GIT can use the following script to run on windows:\nhttps://github.com/victorcruz/vsstogit\n\n\n\n--\nView this message in context: http://git.661346.n2.nabble.com/VSS-to-git-tp2410442p7570605.html\nSent from the git mailing list archive at Nabble.com.\n"}]}
