Here's my setup:\n\ncenteos\napache 2\nwebdav\ngit 1.6.1\n\nI went through most of the git config over http text file instructions\n(http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/howto/setup-git-server-over-http.txt),\njust for the quick and dirty. Here's what I have in my http conf:\n\n<VirtualHost *:80>\n    ServerName www.codeendeavor.com\n    DocumentRoot /var/www/vhosts/codeendeavor/\n    DavLockDB /var/logs/httpd/webdav/davlock\n    <Location \"/guttershark.git/\">\n      DAV on\n    </Location>\n</VirtualHost>\n\nSo, I have a bare git repo here:\n/var/www/vhosts/codeendeavor/guttershark.git/ (I used: mkdir\nguttershark.git; cd guttershark.git; git --bare init). And I've turned\non webdav for that location.\n\nI created the DavLockDB directory: mkdir /var/logs/httpd/webdav/davlock\n\nAnd I've updated permissions on the git repo, and the webdav lock to\napache:apache. And when it still didn't work, I updated the\npermissions on the git repo to 777, and on the davlock.\n\nI'm not sure what would be going on. I searched through the servers'\nempty git, and my local git repo for a lock file. I had a friggin .htaccess file in\nroot, that was screwing things up.
