This is the first release with a proper NEWS file from\nwhich the notes for this release is included below. The rendering code\nhas been cleaned up and simplified so if you notice any regressions,\nsuch as slow downs, please report them. Enjoy!\n\nWhat is tig?\n------------\nTig is an ncurses-based text-mode interface for git. It functions mainly\nas a git repository browser, but can also assist in staging changes for\ncommit at chunk level and act as a pager for output from various git\ncommands.\n\n - Homepage:\thttp://jonas.nitro.dk/tig/\n - Manual:\thttp://jonas.nitro.dk/tig/manual.html\n - Tarballs:\thttp://jonas.nitro.dk/tig/releases/\n - Git URL:\tgit://repo.or.cz/tig.git \n - Gitweb:\thttp://repo.or.cz/w/tig.git\n\nRelease notes\n-------------\nImprovements:\n\n - F5 also refreshes the current view.\n - Allow line graphics to be disabled with new line-graphics option.\n - Main view: also include the reference names when searching.\n - Main view: support for refreshing.\n - Main view: disable boundary commits by default. Use --boundary when\n   they should be shown. (Debian bug 498628)\n - Stage view: add stage-next action to jump to next diff chunk that can\n   be staged. By default bound to '@'.\n - Configure: check for the ncurses header files.\n - Add author-width option to costumize the width of the author column.\n   For example, put the following in ~/.tigrc: set author-width = 10\n\nBug fixes:\n\n - Fix regression when staging all diff chunks in a section.\n - Bind the maximize view action to 'O'; it conflicted with the\n   keybinding to launch the merge tool in the status view.\n - Fix problem with $(cmd) usage in shell code. Some shells (jsh)\n   installed as /bin/sh does not support it.\n - Do not show incomplete boundary commits when --no-walk is used.\n - Documentation: Rename gitlink macro to support AsciiDoc 8.2.3.\n - Ignore pipe reads with errno \"Success\" reported after a signals,\n   for example when refreshing doing background loading.\n\nChange summary\n--------------\nThe diffstat and shortlog summary for changes made in this release.\n\n     3\tDominik Vogt\n     1\tJeff King\n    33\tJonas Fonseca\n     1\tRodolfo Borges\n\n INSTALL       |    4 +\n Makefile      |   10 +-\n NEWS          |  164 +++++++++++\n TODO          |    3 +\n VERSION       |    2 +-\n asciidoc.conf |    7 +-\n configure.ac  |   26 +-\n manual.txt    |    5 +-\n tig.1.txt     |    4 +-\n tig.c         |  733 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++---------------------\n tigrc.5.txt   |   14 +-\n 11 files changed, 641 insertions(+), 331 deletions(-)\n\n-- \nJonas Fonseca\n"}]}
