Or perhaps they're\ninvalidly encoded.\n\nI'm not sure that I care exactly what's at fault, though I think\nThunderbird ought to be able to save an article exactly as it is\n(it appears to be encoding it using Quoted-printable).\n\nAnyway, I'm surprised I don't see anyone else mentioning this. Have I\njust missed it, or are we doing something silly (maybe there's some\nslightly non-obvious way of saving an article in Thunderbird)?\n\nCould be that other people just go to the message file or something.\nSomeone tells me that he has no problems if he moves the article from\nthe IMAP folder to a local folder and uses that. So maybe most people\njust don't notice (because they're not using IMAP)?\n"},{"id":"86921","messageId":"48A181FE.1030304@gmail.com","threadId":"14737","inReplyTo":"80y73kydvl.fsf@tiny.isode.net","subject":"Re: Thunderbird: issues with applying saved patches","fromName":"Lea Wiemann","fromEmail":"lewiemann@gmail.com","sentAt":"2008-08-12T12:28:46Z","receivedAt":"2008-08-12T12:28:46Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"lewiemann@gmail.com","avatar":null},"body":"Bruce Stephens wrote:\n> Thunderbird ought to be able to save an article exactly as it is\n> (it appears to be encoding it using Quoted-printable).\n\nIt seems to be saving the raw message (2.0.0.16 here, and with IMAP as\nwell).
