Looking at the actual revision\npage (http://code.google.com/p/cocotron/source/detail?r=91)\n\nthe only thing that stands out as odd is one file claims to be 'too large to diff'.\nIt's ~900k and if one grabs and diffs by hand, the output is only ~70 lines.\n\nSo - is this at all related to the 'known bug' mentioned earlier - stopped on\nline 3856 when using line ending mapping (I'm not using such), or is this\nsomething else?\n\nLast, assuming I was to simply grab and apply this changeset by hand,\nwhat would I need to do to fix up metadata so that git-svn could continue\nimporting the history? There are about 200 changesets in the whole repository.\n\nThanks,\n\nDF\n"},{"id":"84551","messageId":"20080723170838.GK22606@neumann","threadId":"14632","inReplyTo":"20080723160659.GB6705@cisco.com","subject":"Re: git-svn - failed to clone repository","fromName":"SZEDER Gábor","fromEmail":"szeder@fzi.de","sentAt":"2008-07-23T17:08:38Z","receivedAt":"2008-07-23T17:08:38Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"szeder@fzi.de","avatar":null},"body":"On Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 05:06:59PM +0100, Derek Fawcus wrote:\n> I tried to create a clone of an svn repository, and it gave\n> up part way through with the following error:\n> \n> Incomplete data: Delta source ended unexpectedly at /usr/bin/git-svn line 3858\n> \n> Looking at the source, this is the call '$reporter->finish-report($pool)'\n> near the end of gs_do_update.\n> \n> This is using git 1.5.6 from the etch backports repository.\n> \n> The repository in question was cocotron, the command being:\n> \n> git svn clone http://cocotron.googlecode.com/svn -t tags -b branches -T trunk\nIt might not help you, but with svn version 1.4.6 (r28521) (from\nUbuntu 8.04) and current git master the above command has just\nfinished successfully.\n\nGábor\n"},{"id":"84596","messageId":"32541b130807231249l1028a757i2f29e9ca6e38fc5a@mail.gmail.com","threadId":"14632","inReplyTo":"20080723170838.GK22606@neumann","subject":"Re: git-svn - failed to clone repository","fromName":"Avery Pennarun","fromEmail":"apenwarr@gmail.com","sentAt":"2008-07-23T19:49:00Z","receivedAt":"2008-07-23T19:49:00Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"apenwarr@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/20592?v=4"},"body":"On 7/23/08, SZEDER Gábor <szeder@fzi.de> wrote:\n> It might not help you, but with svn version 1.4.6 (r28521) (from\n> Ubuntu 8.04) and current git master the above command has just\n> finished successfully.\n\nI believe this was fixed by my patch\n29c70e0b3e3183f86f93500882177d0c74069988, which was included in git\n1.5.6.2.\n\nAvery\n"},{"id":"84634","messageId":"20080723225944.GA9310@cisco.com","threadId":"14632","inReplyTo":"32541b130807231249l1028a757i2f29e9ca6e38fc5a@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: git-svn - failed to clone repository","fromName":"Derek Fawcus","fromEmail":"dfawcus@cisco.com","sentAt":"2008-07-23T22:59:44Z","receivedAt":"2008-07-23T22:59:44Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"dfawcus@cisco.com","avatar":null},"body":"On Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 03:49:00PM -0400, Avery Pennarun wrote:\n> I believe this was fixed by my patch\n> 29c70e0b3e3183f86f93500882177d0c74069988, which was included in git\n> 1.5.6.2.\n\nThanks folks.
