As far as 'git\nblame builtin-blame.c' tells me (gotta love the recursion there) it\nhas been this way since cee7f245 when the option was introduced. What\nis the rationale behind this? Is it called '--porcelain' because it is\nmeant to be used by the plumbing to create new porcelain? That seems a\nbit far-fetched though...\n\n-- \nCheers,\n\nSverre Rabbelier\n"},{"id":"84064","messageId":"7vzloc47mv.fsf@gitster.siamese.dyndns.org","threadId":"14550","inReplyTo":"bd6139dc0807201328i41aa7d09jf9a1c4dc6f60a367@mail.gmail.com","subject":"Re: git blame --porcelain","fromName":"Junio C Hamano","fromEmail":"gitster@pobox.com","sentAt":"2008-07-20T20:34:32Z","receivedAt":"2008-07-20T20:34:32Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"gitster@pobox.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/54884?v=4"},"body":"\"Sverre Rabbelier\" <alturin@gmail.com> writes:\n\n> Is it called '--porcelain' because it is\n\nto help porcelain writers.\n"}]}
