It works more reliably than keyword substitution\nbased approaches, since it tracks all files in a working\ncopy, not only .tex files.\n\nThe vc bundle works with LaTeX and plain TeX.  Currently,\nBazaar, Git and Subversion are supported.\n\n\nWhat's special about the vc bundle?\n-----------------------------------\n* Common version control packages for LaTeX use keyword\n  substitution to access revision information.
