My earlier testing\n    only on Mac OS X failed to show any symptoms of the corruption.\n    Junio noticed it on Linux and asked me to revisit the series.\n\n  \"Teach upload-pack to log the received need lines to an fd\"\n\n    At Daniel's suggestion the GIT_DEBUG_SEND_PACK environment\n    variable takes the value of the fd we log onto.  This mirrors\n    how GIT_TRACE works.\n\n-- \nShawn.\n"}]}
