Convert the repository\ninto a tarball, copy it to the machine that requires a proxy\nand change the config to work with the proxy, right? At this\npoint, the git fetch command should work with the proxy, since\nthe local repository now has the required refs, right?\n\nThanks,\n\nKen Fuchs\n"},{"id":"70184","messageId":"alpine.LSU.1.00.0802280007390.22527@racer.site","threadId":"12349","inReplyTo":"AA28F077645B324881335614E4F7C428034C0A@win-ex01.bench.com","subject":"RE: FW: git via http protocol _and_ a proxy using NTLM authentication -- git 1.5.4.2 & curl 7.18.0","fromName":"Johannes Schindelin","fromEmail":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","sentAt":"2008-02-28T00:10:17Z","receivedAt":"2008-02-28T00:10:17Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"johannes.schindelin@gmx.de","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/127790?v=4"},"body":"Hi,\n\nOn Wed, 27 Feb 2008, Ken.Fuchs@bench.com wrote:\n\n[Ken did not say who said this:]\n\n> > git-clone is not a builtin yet.
