The structured format allows rapid point-counterpoint \ninteraction, exposes spin, prevents people from talking past each \nother, and intuitively lays out the arguments on a given issue.\n\nWe currently have a question on there about which VCS to use on a new \nopen source project:\nhttp://www.cruxlux.com/question/view/1095\nand it would be cool to get some git supporters in there.\n\nI want to expand this debate further by getting the experts in the \nfield to chime in. Secondly, we are planning a podcast roundtable \nsession to accompany the answers to this question , and if anyone in \nthis list would like to participate for git, please contact me at \ninfo@cruxlux.com or respond here. We are scheduling it for early next \nweek. The idea would be to get someone from each vcs project \n(mercurial, git, monotone, subversion, bazaar, and more) to discuss the \nstrengths and weaknesses of their projects, and then to have a \ndiscussion about what new features (if any) should go into VCSs in the \nnext few years.\n\nThanks for reading,\n\nCurtis Spencer\nCruxlux\n"},{"id":"67848","messageId":"20080207192738.GA3939@steel.home","threadId":"11953","inReplyTo":"fofg7k$7nk$1@ger.gmane.org","subject":"Re: Revision Control Debate","fromName":"Alex Riesen","fromEmail":"raa.lkml@gmail.com","sentAt":"2008-02-07T19:27:38Z","receivedAt":"2008-02-07T19:27:38Z","isPatch":false,"sender":{"key":"raa.lkml@gmail.com","avatar":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/324101?v=4"},"body":"Curtis Spencer, Thu, Feb 07, 2008 18:48:23 +0100:\n> I am one of the maintainers of Cruxlux, a fairly new platform for \n> structured online debates, question and answer, and live blog \n> conversations.
