Now, it is the sole remaining user for most of \ngit-parse-remote (except for get_remote_url) and for git-fetch--tool.\n\nWould it make sense to remove git-fetch--tool, the dead parts of \ngit-parse-remote, and contrib/examples/git-fetch.sh?
