This could easily be inverted to default to quiet\nand allow the verbose option instead.  Also, with the option in there,\nit wouldn't be hard to quiet up other portions of cg-pull.\n\nSigned-off-by: Frank Sorenson <frank@tuxrocks.com>\n\ndiff --git a/cg-pull b/cg-pull\n- --- a/cg-pull\n+++ b/cg-pull\n@@ -11,15 +11,21 @@\n # -------\n # -f::\n #\tForce the complete pull even if the heads are the same.\n+#\n+# -q::\n+#\tDisplay quieter output\n \n- -USAGE=\"cg-pull [-f] [BRANCH_NAME]\"\n+USAGE=\"cg-pull [-f] [-q] [BRANCH_NAME]\"\n \n . ${COGITO_LIB}cg-Xlib\n \n force=\n+quiet=\n while optparse; do\n \tif optparse -f; then\n \t\tforce=1\n+\telif optparse -q; then\n+\t\tquiet=1\n \telse\n \t\toptfail\n \tfi\n@@ -309,8 +315,11 @@ if [ ! \"$orig_head\" ]; then\n \n elif [ \"$orig_head\" != \"$new_head\" ]; then\n \techo \"Tree change: $orig_head:$new_head\"\n- -\tgit-diff-tree -r $(tree-id $orig_head) $(tree-id $new_head)\n- -\n+\tif [ \"$quiet\" ] ; then\n+\t\tgit-diff-tree -r $(tree-id $orig_head) $(tree-id $new_head) | awk '{ print $5\"\\t\"$6 }'\n+\telse\n+\t\tgit-diff-tree -r $(tree-id $orig_head) $(tree-id $new_head)\n+\tfi\n else\n \techo \"Up to date.\"\n \texit\n\n\nFrank\n- -- \nFrank Sorenson - KD7TZK\nSystems Manager, Computer Science Department\nBrigham Young University\nfrank@tuxrocks.com\n-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----\nVersion: GnuPG v1.2.6 (GNU/Linux)\nComment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org\n\niD8DBQFCvkj8aI0dwg4A47wRAuOvAKCllJCjte1ITkPCtKOfAqd8zY1fzgCgscg2\nEZ5jKuLBFF+0lb5ZoOd6bHE=\n=YC02\n-----END PGP SIGNATURE-----\n"}]}
